Let's dance ruedas outside!

2:15–3:00 PM: Casino lesson — the style of salsa danced with a partner in Cuba and the basis of Rueda. All are welcome, though familiarity with Rueda is helpful.

3–5 PM: Rueda de Casino, starting with a group warm-up. Practice old calls and moves, learn new ones, and dance as many ruedas as possible. Beginners and experienced dancers are welcome; previous salsa or other dance experience is required.

We will be in one of the four shelters to the left of the road after the basketball court and baseball field. If no shelter is available at Rolland Moore Park, we will move to a shelter in City Park. The hosts will announce the specific pavilion by 2:00 PM on the Facebook event and in the FoCo Rueda WhatsApp group (text 307-286-0770 to join).

Bring water and flat shoes for dancing. Cold water and popsicles are often provided on hot days. You are welcome to bring snacks to enjoy during breaks and share with others, or just bring yourself!

Afterwards, head over to Live Beyond Limit for The Sunday Matinee Social to dance more casino and ruedas.
